only nui but still broken
 

I have disabbled all other addons but NUI+, but it still breaks. What to do?:(

Which version? Did you upgrade to the 5.06.23?

What error messages are you getting?

I'm having alot of trouble with nUI even after the updates that you have just posted. I lost all my raid/party frames. and my HUD. The other panel plug ins are gone as well. The last update was 5.06.23.

If you are playing on an Oceanic realm, you do not yet have the 3.3.5 patch on your realm and therefore should *not* have upgraded your copy of nUI yet... as the release notes for the update stated, it was for the 3.3.5 patch. It will not work if your realm has not yet been updated. You can fix this by going to the nUI download page at http://files.nUIaddon.com and clicking on the "Archived" page... download the 5.06.20 release to roll back to the most recent pre-3.3.5 version of nUI. You can do the upgrade after Blizz patches your realm

If your realm has been updated to 3.3.5 and you have installed nUI 5.06.23 and you are still getting broken unit frames, I guarantee you it is another addon or nUI plugin that is causing the problem. To fix this, disable *ALL* of your addons except nUI itself -- this includes all nUI plugins. Log in to WoW and nUI should load correctly. Once you've gotten to that point, you can start enabling mods one at a time until you find the one that it breaking the load.

It is known the pre-3.3.5 versions of Prat, Chatter, WIM, HitsMode and Carbonite will cause the load to break along with the pre-3.3.5 versions of Xrystal's info panel chat plugins. I don't know what other mods may also have issues.

I also noticed grid and titan and I heard fubar were not doing as their told either. I didn't have time to investigate them myself to track down the causes but my bugsack was getting full before I realised rofl.

Thanks for replying so quick.. your right patch 3.3.5 hasn't gone live yet. Guess it looks like i need to learn to read the notes before installing next time.. :(

Just updated to the newest version. Went to a level 1 toon, disabled everything but nUI.

I turned on addons one by one, Carbonite (without the plug-in) brings up an error - but does not break nUI (as is when I've fully placed all normal addons on.


Turned off Carbonite (to keep fresh and clean addons) and went to Skada - this broke nUI. I (after this report) cleaned out all other addons so the only two were nUI and Skada, and nUI broke.

The carbonite issue is their need to fix the chat frame changes they have but the skada one is weird as I have that running fine on mine.

I did not test with Skada last night as I was worried about basic functionality. I'll look at that this evening and put out another update if needed.

Yea, on Scotts suggestion I got Skada a while ago and like that over the recount/omen feature. Therefore - I'm appalled :eek: that it broke! bad Scott! I'm sure it'll get fixed shortly enough, and in the meantime I can live without skada - I know I'm good enough that I don't have to look at the rankings.

Anyways, I'll continue testing with a bunch of addons as I can (I have to work as well) and let you know if any others break nUI.

EDIT: I logged onto my 80 with almost everything attached, I removed the Guild Chat info panel and Carbonite info panel and nUI wasn't broke. That means I also had Skada running and it was working fine... but on the level 1 toon with just nUI and skada it's still broke. Is it a level dependency thing?
