[Alpha] LibMapPins-1.0
 

This is a cross-post from WowAce's forums. LibMapPins-1.0 is a fresh new take on placing pins or icons on the world and mini maps.

There is more description on the project page and on the main forums. The biggest piece of information is that LibMapPins-1.0 is open source and anyone can commit, making improvements, additions, etc.

I will check this thread, but my main focus will be on wowace.com. Don't let that stop you if you have a preference. The SVN repository is open and you don't need to sign up on Curse/WowAce/Curseforge as far as I know.

Update: there are now 15 APIs available, with more coming. I haven't tested in game yet, as I am still getting ideas down. However, LibMapPins should be functional should someone want to try.
