It seems that by accepting cross realm invites, if that realm has a diff set of dailies up for Golden Lotus, you can do those, garnering extra rep. I'd love to try that, but I sadly do not have any friends on a diff server ; ;

I was able to do it. However, I haven't tried again since it was supposedly hotfixed.
