nUI+ 6 Alpha Pet Bar Bug
 

Just tried the latest Alpha and looks really good. I like how the stance/presence is now on the right and side of the button bars instead of on top.

Did find the following issue with regard to the pet bar.

1: activate pet. (pet bar shows on top of main bar and is correct)
2: mount. (pet bar disappears as expected)
3: unmount. (pet bar reappears correctly)
4: mount again. (pet bar disappears as expected)
5: attack target forcing a dismount, I used Icy Touch in my example. (pet bar appears but all buttons are blank. Pet activates and attacks) - see attachment screenshot.

Let me know if you want me to try anything else.

Thanks for the bug report... sounds like there's a taint bug in the new pet bar. /sigh -- I'll have a look at it.

In the meantime, when you post screen shots, rather than upload them to a different site and embed them in the message (which makes them really hard to see -- too small) click the paperclip icon in the message editor or scroll down the message editor page to the "Manage Attachments" button and then you can upload your screen shot directly to the site as a full sized attachment. Much much easier for you and me both.

I originally tried to do the manage attachments, but the upload wouldn't work. I am not sure if it's my browser(Mac Safari user) or not. In future attachments I will again try the attachment option. hopefully with better results.

I you need me to retest or try other things let me know. I love the interface, and really want to help where I can to improve it any way possible.

the pet bar issue has been around since nui5 seems like a problem to tackle :P

Yeah... the pet bar in nUI6 is a complete rewrite, so I'm not surprised there's some bugs in it. Same symptom as the pet bar in nUI5, but a different cause.

Its odd. I don't get the issue in 5. unless its a nui5 and not a nui+5 issue. The only issue i have with pet bars in 5, is that it kind of scrolls to the side when activated as the presence buttons are there as well and it attaches to them.

Yeah... I *kinda* fixed the problem in 5 using a hack, but it's not a real fix and it still breaks from time to time.
