Really switch to general key bingings?

Every time I log into the game I get a pop up box stating:

"Really switch to general key bindings? All key bindings specific to the character will be permanently deleted."

Hitting yes then rebinding does not fix problem.

options?

This is a relatively new issues that's come up with the last few nUI patches... I'm trying to run it down.

I'm getting the same popup consistently with the latest version of nUI (5.06.10).

I just hit cancel and all is right with the world. The keybindings show up and work just fine.

I wish you luck finding a fix for this. Love the UI.

I have this issue as well.

From what i gather there will be quite a few folks that are experiencing the issue and the above quote shows Scott is aware and is working on it. Perhaps if not everyone is experiencing the issue if people posted a tad more info it may help in finding the cause.

Being verbose with the info is never a bad thing =)

I believe this error is only happening to those who are using character specific keybinds and not account wide keybinds.

I can concur with this statement.. ^^

I may be wrong but I mentioned it somewhere else here but my theory is that sometime recently. Pretty much since 3.2 as that was the last time I actively played WoW :D Anyway, sometime since then I think that maybe they (Blizzard) tweaked the keybindings but only the general ones. For the character ones asking for you to copy the general ones gives me the impression that the character ones are missing something the game needs and thus asks to copy it from general.

It's all theoretical however, but seeing as I the only keybinding issue I ever had was resolved by doing that it makes me wonder.

At the risk of being too verbose ...

*I'm using the latest (vanilla, not plus) version of nUI

* The keybind prompt popped up only after I installed the latest version of nUI

* I'm using character-specific keybinds

* The error has shown up consistently on all of my characters, two of whom are dual-specced, that use the nUI addon. It doesn't appear on my bank alt that uses the default Blizzard UI.

Not sure that does anything more than merely confirm that *I* am having an issue. :)

In any case, I hit "cancel" and everything works fine. I'd consider this more an annoyance than a bug, because nothing appears broken.

I can confirm that on the characters I have that are keybound, the message is showing. On alts where I haven't bound any keys, like my level 1 bank alt, I get no message. This is on the latest nUI+ downloaded on Mar 12, 10.

This is on a 24" imac (Intel), OS X 10,6,2 in case that matters.

Love this UI !

Yeah it only happens in nui+ but not nui (lite)

Don't know if that little tidbit will help or not.

I have a slightly weird happenstance as well:

Not only does it show up for every character, but when I bind one (and only one) of my druid's keys, it erases the first time I do a dual spec conversion.

I also have started using bindpad as it doesn't store the keybindings on the server and that seems to help.

Have you upgraded to the nUI 5.06.11 that was released tonight?

If not, go to http://files.nUIaddon.com and get the latest version. That should fix that problem.
