RealID Conversation windows missing "Add More"
 

Hi Scott,

I tried to /w you last night, but you must've been busy (or studiously ignoring me ;)).

Without nUI, I have an "Add More" button for my RealID conversations. With nUI6 or nUI5, I don't. See screen shots. First shows the Add More button with no addons running, next two show it missing with only nUI 5 and nUI 6 running and no other addons (although the button is missing with just nUI 5).

This was freaking me out for some time because me, my wife, and another couple usually do RealID conversations because we might be on different realms or they're hording while we ally ourselves. What I couldn't figure out is how he (a non-nUI user) could get a fourth person added to the conversation. I was practically hollering at him to explain it and he just kept saying, "With the Add More button." Finally, I disabled all addons, started a conversation and there it was. :eek: /facepalm

Okay -- I've added it to my bug list and will look into it.

I don't have enough bNet friends in my list and online at the same time to be able to test this. Can you please disable nUI and use the command '/framestack' then mouse over the button to add a friend to the channel and tell me what the name of the button (or buttons) is that framestack reports?

I couldn't attach pictures in the Announcements board, so I'm replying here.

First pic is Conversation's Add More button.

Second pic is normal Chat command button.

When I switch between Chat and Conversation, Add More button swaps with the Chat command button.

Okay -- I think I'm homing in on it -- will try to test it tonight so I can get the update out.

This is a conversation window after 5.06.28 was loaded. I have to point over there to get that one button to show up, but none of the other chat controls are there (like the arrows).

Note, also, that this did not fix the Conversation window overlap. In fact, it seems identical to what was happening before.

Bummer.

No other chat mods installed?

I forgot to disable WIM. I'll disable all other mods and re-test tonight.
