Cannot reply to postings in Database/Quest

I cannot reply to any post in the Database/Quest folder. Keep getting

Thrumbar, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

No problems in any other folders...

That's how it's setup. It's not anything you are doing wrong. Initially that particular forum was made to be a clutter free place. You would post a specific quest that wasn't in the database and/or made Carb act funny and the Authors would look into it.

That's why that forums description is the way it is. Bold is me.

Yeah, well, not anymore. Apparently it's been "unlocked" (or at least it's "unlocked" at the time I posted this).

Personally, I feel this is a bad idea.

I'd personally prefer people being able to comment, to confirm something acted up, or to give more details the original poster didn't provide which is why I asked for it to be unlocked.

it would almost seem that with the re organization that you've done on the forums Rythal, that the DB/Quest specific thread is a bit overkill. Having just the separate forums for the Beta and live build bugs seems enough. Just my two cents.

Not to sure about overkill. Personally I like being able to look in one area (quest/db in this case) to see if others are having the same problem i may have.

infact when the addon goes modular I think we need a sub forum for each module. that way specifics can be found easier. Now getting everybody to post in said sub-forums will be a task in it self

This is exactly what Moderators are for... for which I would happily volunteer. Messy forums are in my top 5 pet peeves. ;)
