OpenRDX 7.1.0 Upgrade Process - Read before download.
 

Important :
Many updater functions have been written.
- Upgrade all yours desktop objects v1 to v2
- Update all yours medias files (fonts, texture, ...) with RDX_mediapack

Please follow the process :

STEP 1 : BACKUP

Backup your RDX database addons before !!!
The database is located here (XXXXX is your account name) :
WTF\Account\XXXXXX\SavedVariables\RDX.lua
Copy this file somewhere on a safe place.

STEP 2 : MOVE ALL OLD RDX addons

Here is the list of addons you need to move in a backup place.

RDX
RDX_Recovery
VFL
VFL_languagepack_deDE
VFL_languagepack_frFR
VFL_languagepack_ruRU
VFL_Languages
VFL_Profiler

STEP 3 : DOWNLOAD FILES

OpenRDX WoTLK 7.1.0_beta
OpenRDX Media Pack
OpenRDX Language Pack of your client

STEP 4 : INSTALLATION

You should have theses folders after extraction, except the languagepack :
!VFL_Lifeguard
RDX
RDX_Recovery
VFL
VFL_languagepack_deDE
VFL_languagepack_frFR
VFL_languagepack_ruRU

STEP 5 : LOG IN

Some messages "Updating Object ...." or "Updating Media ...." will appear.
At the end of the upgrade process, a popup message ask you to reload your UI. Click on the button YES.
This upgrade functions will be executed only one time.
Congratulations, your OpenRDX 7.1.0 is now available.


STEP 6 : IN CASE ERROR LUA

Use the command /err to show all the stack trace error.
PM Sigg your error message.

Go back to your OLD Version.
Remove all the new addons files.
Replace your OLD RDX 7.0.5 version
Replace your backup Database
