Updates for 4.0.3a (Cataclysm)
 

While the addon works, there's the obvious problems due to all the Azeroth zones being redone by Blizzard.

Is there anything we can do to help with gathering data for an update?

If you explore all of the areas, you can send me your MozzFullWorldMap.lua file from the WTF saved variables folder. I can extract the data I need from that.

I have to been there or do <ou only need some who explore everything?

I pretty much need to re-explore the whole world as many of the maps have changed... I'm going to grab a max-level toon on the test realms and use him to re-explore the world... but I need to make some MFWM code changes first to account for it.

Okay I really doesnt understand exactly what you mean, but here is my lua from a live Realm with German Interface.

how to install
 

ok i got the last update you did to work but this time i do not know how to install this update. can you explane how to make this work? is it just copy and paste or is like the last time where i have to find the files and rewrite them?

Just unzip the update to your [ World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns ] folder and you're all set.

ok i am still can't get it to work, when i installed the update it replaced the old mozzfullworldmap.lua file that i have attach to this message. after it replace that file it does not load up. i also tired keeping the old file there and just adding the other file to it, still nothing.

Do this...

1. exit WoW
2. go to the [ World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns ] folder
3. delete the folder [ MozzFullWorldMap ]
4. log in to WoW but do not enter the world
5. click on the "AddOns" button and scroll down the list looking for MozzFullWorldMap
6. If you see "MozzFullWorldMap" in the addon list, go back to step #1, you are in the wrong [ World of Warcraft ] folder
7. If you don't see "MozzFullWorldMap" you can continue
8. exit WoW again
9. unzup the entire contents of the MozzFullWorldMap_3.36.40000.zip download into the [ World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns ] folder
10. log in to WoW again, but do not enter the world
11. click on the "AddOns" button again and scroll down the list looking for "MozzFullWorldMap"
12. if you do *not* see it, go back to step #8, you did not unzip it correctly
13. if you do see it, you can enter the world on any toon and it should be working.

Hi spiel2001,

are you aware that when downloading MozzFullWorldMap_3.36.40000.zip from WoW Interface or Curseforge you are actually getting v3.36.30303 !? At least it says so on the Addon Screen in WoW.

The more important thing is that it does not work! Nope, it does NOT display the actual changes made to the World with patch 4.0.3 (13329) Release - better known as Cataclysm!

I also tried to find the omnious v3.36.40000 but without success. So if its out there maybe some link to the correct build would be nice! And I also suggest to fix the issue with WoW Interface and curseforge obviously providing the wrong version under new tag!

I really like mozzFullWorldMap and would love to see it working again for Cata! :)

Thank you... I am trying to get MFWM fixed... it's just an issue of time and understanding the maps that are behaving so oddly... they seem to be phased with different maps based on phase and it's confusing MFWM.

The Cataclysm zones are definitely phased and I believe Blizzard is going to continue to use this technique in the future so I hope you can figure out how to deal with it. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

I will be taking a two month leave of absence from work for January and February... I will be tackling this problem while I'm on that furlough.

Any progress on this issue?
