Chat frame over lapping hot bar
 

I'm having an issue with the chat frame over lapping the hot bar in the bottom left...i move the chat frame to make it where i can use the bar but it resets when i log.



If you have any solutions that would be awesome

Are you running nUI 5.06.25? That chat edit box should be at the top of the frame, not the bottom.

figured out what it was...it was my addon prat that i use for chat....disabled it and all is fine, but thanks for the reply

I think Prat has an option to set where the chat frame edit box goes. A lot of people use Prat with nUI and since Prat's fixed for 3.3.5 now, it should be all good... just use the Prat config options to locate the edit box at the top.

I actually stopped using prat myself now as I only really used it for font and timestamps. With both fixed in nUI or in the blizz standard I don't need it anymore rofl :D

ah i forgot chatter probly has a similar option to put it at the top as well ill give that whirl. :banana:

Edit: oh not sure if its due to chatter but when i click the icon below the chat bar for party raid etc it will open the chat text window unless i click as close as possible to the right edge of the party button ill check if the chat box at top doesnt solve it with chatter and post later on today when i get time.

Yeah... moving the chat edit box to the top of the chat frame should do the trick.

yes chatter reset its chat box to the bottom and once i set it to top obviously no more issue. :)
