nUI + Titan Panel
Hey there,
Yesterday I decided to install Titan Panel with nUI. To my surprise, when I logged in, I couldn't see my character because the whole screen was covered with a huge map so basically it was like a 2D game :P Kinda weird... I could still open Friend list and others but not see my characters neither the titan panel. Now my question is, I remember there was a similar addon called Fubar or something ? That it was pretty similar to Titan Panel, what was the name? And, is it compatible with nUI ? |
Hey,
This is how it looks with Titan Panel when I enter the game! Looks sick imo... The titanl panel works fine but i cant see anything lol... - http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/9450/titanpanel.jpg Hope I can get some help, FuBar 3.6 isn't showing any details ( Like the fps, ms, gold.. just the 2 bars with nothing on it ). Would rly like having Titan Panel with nUI. |

You're the second person, I believe, to have raised this issue this week... I'm wondering is Titan has changed something that's borked it again. Let me do some looking into it, in the meantime, can you please tell me the EXACT version of Titan and nUI that you're running?
Also... for future reference, you do not have to upload your screen shots to another web site and then link to them from here... when you are editing forum messages here on WoWI just scroll down the page and you'll see a "Manage Attachments" button... just click that and you can upload you sreenshot right into WoWI and it will attach it at the bottom (like you'll see in this message) . |

The version is "Titan Panel 4.2.1. 30 100" That's it, im using latest version of nUI+ downloaded it again this morning from this forum. It is "nUI 5.03.01 plus" |
Okay... I'll look into it and see if I can reproduce it.

when you download Fubar you are going to have to downlaod some plugins for it..It doesnt come with anything (that i can remeber) Titan Panel comes with several already set up (FPS, MS, Gold, Location ect.) so that prolly why Fubar was blank :D |

Kcuestag,
Did you install something else at the same time as Titan? The reason I ask is because I am currently using the same vers of Titan and nUI and this is how mine looks. |

just a quick question.. what is that out line of a circle on the ground? |
this happened to me, disable the bottom bar then reload and it should be back to normal.
|
Fubar definitely does not come with any plug-ins you must download them thats why your bars are blank as far as titan goes i run both with no problems try deleteing any saved variables for titan in your WTF folder.
If I remember correctly the last person with this problem did a new install for both nUI and titan but I would try the variables first |

I'm the current lead author/maintainer of Titan Panel (when it comes to its core code). I have been directed to this thread/issue by one of the nUI users. I have been able to easily reproduce the problem with the Minimap texture covering the entire screen. It is caused by some kind of interaction with nUI and Titan only when the following conditions apply : 1) Both bars are shown. 2) Neither the top or the bottom autohide is enabled in Titan. This is for Scott: It would seem that the issue is caused by a custom placement of the nUI_BottomBarsLocator, more specifically line 115 in nUI_TitanPanel.lua : Quote:
Oh and btw Scott, this code : Quote:
If there is anything else I can help with, please say so, or better yet contact me directly via a pm or email. |

Rofl, I can confirm this. Just set both bars and made sure auto hide turned off and voila. I never had the problem as since I have had nUI I have never used the bottom bar in either fubar or titan.
Thanks for pointing that out as I know I was scratching my head at that one, although admittedly I never tried the other options myself. If I didn't know how to stop it, it would have been hilarious. |

First -- thank you for going out of the way to do the leg work on this. At the time I wrote that SetPpint() code that was what was required to "attach" the bottom of nUI's dashboard to the top of Titan's uppermost bottom bar. Has that changed? (I haven't had a chance to look at the Titan code yet this weekend) |
I'm going through the code and I can't really see any notable changes other than calling TitanPanel_SetTransparent("TitanPanelAuxBarButtonHider", TITAN_PANEL_PLACE_BOTTOM) when both top and bottom bars are shown. Perhaps that is it.
|
Yeah -- it looks to me like nUI's dashboard is getting stretched from the top of the display to the bottom. I'm probably missing an attachment change and anchoring to the wrong bar at the wrong time. I'll get in and get a look as soon as I can -- kinda tied up with family stuff today.
