nUI Dev and 3.1 Ulduar - Success

Just wanted to let you know that we killed the first boss in Ulduar 10 man with no problems on my nUI setup whatsoever.

Vehicle abilities were accessible and we had a blast.

Then wiped spectacularly on one of the 3 next bosses. Repeatedly. Think we need more than 2 healers for those bosses - rofl.

Gratz on the first boss. As for the rest... meh... ditch the two worthless healers and get more locks... you never need healers if you got enough locks.

a couple of issues.......the dismount button seems to be there but no graphic is displayed.

Secondly, when in the side car of the chopper.......Blizz pue the dismount someplace not-usual. I was unable to find it when using NUI.

The icon not showing is a known issue, still no fix for it. The side-car thing is one was unaware of. In the meantime, the 5 key on your numberpad should always dismount you regardless of the vehicle.

*cough* I was one of the healers :D .. They called me in again tonight to help heal for the route to Ignis but no luck. One of the tanks died to quick and the other healer kept getting fire blasted and then stun locked. Grr and hate those silences.

But at least nUI is working great :D

Hmm, I don't remember having problems leaving passenger of the tank. Unless I didn't leave the vehicle and was just pushed out. Maybe the tank and chopper have different setups but I would think all vehicles would be treated the same.

Thats exactly what I thought too but the vehicle UI placement for the sidecar of the chopper is different. I dont know why.....strange.

Thanks for the '5' reminder. I'll need to use it.

What's your spec? I'm affliction, and the "nerf" I was expecting seems to be actually more dps. And the fact that you get heals off like all the dot's now, I need even fewer heals than before, and can lifetap alot more often. The mana regen seems better somehow too! Then again, the mana and dps was tested mostly on the dummy's in IF...... But with no flask or food buff, I was doing like an extra 200dps or so over typically buffed raid...... Was hitting 2200dps, typically I do 1500-2000 depending on buffs availible from group/raid. Also varies per dungeon too, but the nerf is starting to feel welcome (minus the new shard limit.....)

I haven't logged in to any of my toons since the patch... no time to play :(

But I was playing my lock a good bit while developing and testing on the PTR... he was only level 72 on the PTR and spec'd affliction and melting the face off of mobs. In fact, that's him on the PTR in this movie... http://www.nuiaddon.com/movies/movie03.html

He's only lvl71 in that clip and you can see the waste he's laying to the mammoths.

Yeah... I'm lovin' my lock
