Framerate dip / Memory use

Nui has been having an abnormal use of memory as of late. Watching the memory usage go up by .1 MB every couple seconds continuously for quite a while, until the memory usage seems to start affecting the frame rate. (from 45-50 fps it drops to around 9 fps) the addon goes from using 12-19mb of ram to over 50mb quite quickly and I have to keep manually cleaning the "garbage" with an ldb plugin i have installed.

I did a search for NUI memory leaks on google, and from every post the response was "thats just not possible, the addon has a memory cleaning function blah blah". If that is your only answer just dont respond because its just not true. Disabling NUI itself stopped the memory leak, and my game ran fine all night without any issues with fps. I absolutely love this addon and would like to see this problem fixed ASAP.

First... see this post: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21716

Second... the implication that the only thing I have said is that's not possible blah blah blah is flat out untrue. I have explained in painful detail how garbage collection works and that nUI uses dynamic memory. It is not, technically, a memory leak as the memory is not lost and can be recovered. However, we're splitting semantic hairs there.

Third... there have been many many posts about how I'm aware that some players are having an FPS leak problem and that is the key driving force behind the nUI6 development effort. You might want to try downloading the nUI6 alpha to see if it helps with your problem.
