Hide dashboard theme
 

Hi All,

Just wondering if Xrystal or anyone else has any idea if it's possible to hide the dashboard theme background or not without have to install the InvisibleMan skin. I'd prefer to not have the background show, so I can see anything that may be hiding behind it.

The invisi skin plugin should do what you want and just toggle the viewport display to get rid of the black box thats hiding behind the dashboard area.

Outside of that combination I don't think theres much else you can do.

One more thing. Is there some code I can add to InvisiSkin.lua to automatically change the viewport back to normal? so I don't have to change it every time I login or reloadui.

hmm I thought the viewport toggle was permanent but perhaps it isn't. If not then the writer of Invisi Skin plugin actually puts instructions on how you can change nUI to not show the black part if it shows.

I tried what the author suggested... commented out the lines, but still shows viewport alteration. I actually have to use the /nui viewport command twice to get it to go back to normal.

On a side note, it doesn't matter how many times you use the slash command it still prints nUI Viewport DISABLED in the chat frame.

the issue with having to type "nui viewport" twice has been around since Cata was released. i figured it was just a weird idiosyncracy with my computer

I'll have to take Crazzzzi's word on that, until you mentioned about using the /nui viewport command, I just figured the black bar on the bottom was just a glitch. :o

yes the viewport issue had been around since cata i use the invisi skin as well and everytime i log in with a new toon or reaload the ui i have to use the /nui viewport at least twice to get it to get rid of the black on the screen now that scott is back i was going to see if there is a way to just disable the viewport

i acutally made a macro for it just so i didnt have to type it in all the time

I'll have a look at it when I get a chance and see if I can figure out why that's happening.

This is the skin I used the most for nui as well.

Would love to it updated when you have the time.

I'll have a look at the lua for nUI_InvisiSkin, and see if I can make a change to save having to use the viewport command everytime.

I've been trying a few different bag mods lately, and have found the /nui viewport double up issue to be caused by most of them, probably all of them, as I have not tried all. So, I'm guessing this viewport bug, and maybe others could be caused by some call that bag mods use.

just curious, did you test altoholic?

I'm using it at the moment, along side ArkInventory.
