Looting only a set group of items
 

Hey all,

I am looking for a mod that will loot only a certain item type off of lootable objects (mobs, chests etc). The reason behind this is me trying to farm materials for my alts, such as Wool, and having a tool automatically select relevant items and dismiss the rest would be a huge help.

Is there anything out there that performs in a similar fashion?

It doesn't do exactly what you're looking for but ExcessBaggage might at least enable you to keep looting [Wool Cloth] or whatever. It's about the closest thing I could find and since there weren't any responses yet I figured I'd throw it out there :D.

I've just finished the base to a mod like this, and hopefully today will have a UI for it so it's not just run on slash commands. When it's done, I'll upload it and post a notice here.

If you'd like to try what I have now, let me know and I'll upload it early.

I advise using ExcessBaggage(mainly because I made it).

Well, I uploaded my attempt at a loot filter addon - it doesn't delete anything from your inventory, it just lets you white- or black-list items to pick up or leave behind. It hasn't been extensively tested, and doesn't have a GUI yet, just slash commands.

Anyhow, with that disclaimer, if you're interested, it's Auto Loot Filter and I'm definitely interested in maintaining it and adding features, so let me know what you think if you try it.
