nUI uninstall problem
 

I uninstalled nUI because i couldn't get use to it. And now I can't get my minimap back to the upper right corner. My chat window is messed up too, but I read chow to fix that. If someone could tell me how to get WOW back to the way it was before I installed nUI, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

If you deleted [ Interface > AddOns > nUI ] then it has *nothing* to do with the location of the minimap anymore as Bliz does not "remember" minimap location like it does the chat frame and combat log which are the only two elements that are still a "problem" after you uninstall nUI.

My advice would be to go to the character screen after login and select the "AddOns" button, then select "disable all" and log in to your toon. In so doing, everything except the chat frame should be the Bliz default.

After that, you can start installing addons you like and use again.

Sound advice, to be sure. But here is a helpful tip I use constantly because I like knowing I have a 'clean install' when I change my UI.

Go to your WoW folder and find the Interface and WTF folders, rename them something like Interfaceold WTFold or whatever...then log into the game.

This resets ALL of Blizzards UI features and takes any risk of having something inside one of these folders from another addon.
