(nUI6 5.01.00.01 and Re-Released)
My apologies to all who tried to download the nUI6 5.01.00.01 release from the web site. I inadvertently uploaded the wrong file to the site for that version. I have re-uploaded it wih the correct version. If you have already grabbed the nUI6 5.01.00.01 release and it was broken (oh so very very broken), please re-download it and you should be all set. Once again... so very sorry. (egg on face)
NOTE: Alpha releases are not normally available to the public. I offer them for download on the nUIaddon.com as a courtesy to those users who are actively contributing to nUI's ongoing development. Once the alpha is complete, a public beta will be made available. Until then, this is a closed alpha limited strictly to those who are supporting the develoment. I appreciate that everyone would like to have a go at this release, but I can't handle that many people pumping me about the things I already know are broken in the alpha. I trust you'll understand. Thank you.
Please report any bugs to http://forums.nUIaddon.com as well as whatever commentary you can to provide on the work in progress.

newest alpha looks fantastic scott, very polished, i love the inventory manager, I personally think inverting the shift modifier when clicking the bag icon to open either the bar or bags would be a neat option, as personally id rather just click a button to open combuctor/bags than have another bar, but thats easy enough to edit in the files directly, but just throwing it out there, once slash commands come in and we can update the config gui, it would be a neat feature.
Second on todays docket, unless im doing something wrong or broke it (which is possible since I did make some edits to the code just to play with/test some things) titan integration is broke. My bar overlaps nui.
One final thing, unless this is a bug, Im not seeing anything in my right infopanel, whether it says map or off, it just shows the blackish-blue swirly background. Minimap is displayed normally in the center either way as well.
*edit* nope just did a reinstall, titan integration isnt working for me, also if I revert to 5.1.00.00 alpha titan comes back, something in the new update breaks it im sad to say.
**edit2** after messing with the professions infopanel, I altered some code to point to the new nui6 stuff, but it still breaks with null tables. I think ill just let the authors do their thing lol. Figured that would be an easy one to work with but yea... no..
When it is on "map" on the right info panel, if you hit Shift-M -- what happens? ANything?
No error messages, I presume?
And, just for giggles, can you install a fresh copy of nUI6 with *no* other mods and see if it still does it? It may be a conflict issue.
**Sidenote** Could someone please up a screenshot of how to post an attachment on this forum? Im still not seeing this Paperclip or anyway to do this on advanced post. Googling vbulliten attachment didnt help much either.
Arite, I was pretty thorough in my testing this time. I literally moved my entire addons folder baring the blizzardui files, and reinstalled a fresh download of nUI6, no titan this round. I even deleted ALL of my savedvariables in every location. The game loads and the right infopanel listed map shows, but blank. Hitting shift-m DOES indeed load the map into the infopanel.
Im not sure if this is a bug that the client loads the panel blank? is there anyway to have it shown by default without hitting shift-m first?
**edit** Im a dumbass, missed taking my ss at this point, but here is one of this alpha build showing the same 'bugs' ive been talking about. Ignore my socialstate please, ive been integrating patches by hand for new features, and made a typo. However everything up to now was a clean install.
Next issue, TitanPanel. I downloaded the latest build from curseforge just to make sure the client wasnt doing anything. Closed the client completely. Installed, relaunched. Version 126.96.36.199100
Titan issue REMAINS, nUI is not recognizing TitanUtils_GetBarAnchors from being run is my guess. Next i downloaded auctioneer suite and extracted only !swatter, and installed it just to check for bugs. Using version 5.15.5383 Release
closed client, relaunched, no errors. Ran /swat enable, /swat clear, /console reloadui. no errors. Titan Panel remains overlapped. I have however at this point realized that the map infopanel displays correctly by default at launch. Doing one more test, by deleting saved variables. Game launched, Realm is currently restarting login froze just my luck...
5minutes later, client launches, and to my surprise map infopanel is displaying correctly. Any ideas on this lol? Titan is still not working for me. At this point I have !Swatter, nUI6, and Titan +included titan plugins running, nothing else. No errors caught.
Last question as Im tired, is there anyway to scroll or zoom in on the map infopanel that Im missing?
There was a bug I was dealing with that was causing an error when I tried to force-show the minimap. I think I have that fixed, but I forgot to go back and force-show it. So, that should be fixed in the next update.
Not sure what's up with Titan, as I didn't change anything there, but I did have to change how I do my anchors due to the aforementioned bug. Maybe that's the issue. I'll look into it.
I did see that all the file dates were identical from one release to the other, and thought maybe titan changed the way the titanutils worked or something, so i was looking at that, but when i downgraded back to 5.01.00.00 the issue did go away and titan displayed properly, so its something in 5.01.00.01. Also we have the bug i reported here (thread on alpha 00.00 post 2) about the raid frames, this is still present in alpha 00.01 confirmed in LFR, this time the ui showed i was in group 5 where blizz ui showed i was in 4.
Roger that. I'll see if I can't get both those issues sorted out this weekend.
another warlock related "issue" not really a bug, I found, is the demo spec's demonic fury bar. Once blizzard frames are hidden we would have no way of seeing this bar as of yet. Notice the bar at 20% under health and mana.
displayed in SS is nUI6 5.01.00.00 alpha, hence why titanpanel looks fine. I downgraded for the timebeing.
I am aware of this. I have to fix the bar for locks, druids and pallies. I also have to fix the runes for Death Knights. They all suffer from this issue in the current nUI6... which is actually why I haven't turned off the default player unit frame yet (that and the aura displays).
Honestly aside from an occasional bug where the auras dont show tooltips or everything becomes "un-right-click-able" I actually like the auras lol, aside from taking the auramod you wrote and moving everything, I liked them in the stock locations. But yea, point well taken.
