Yeah, I noticed this too. Sometimes the fading takes several seconds (instead of what I assume is supposed to be a fraction of one) and/or the aura icon just stays on the frame at half-alpha instead...

No, Sigg removed the ability to disable that "feature". What you need to do is comment out everything in RDX\Desktops\BlizzardFullDisable.lua and then just disable individual elements manually.
