(bug report request)
I wanted to follow up on my request for assistance with this viewport bug first by extending a sincere thank you to everyone for their feedback. I've passed the data and screen shots on to Blizzard and the engine team is looking into it. With one exception, in the training area in Darnassus, every example I received was either for Uldum or Throne of Tides. So, that all said, as this point I do not need any more examples of the viewport problem in those areas.
I would ask, however, that if you experience the viewport bug in any zone
other than Darnassus, Uldum or Throne of Tides, please press Alt-z to turn off the user interface so we can see the viewport unobstructed (there will be a black bar at the bottom of the screen) and take a screen shot, then press Alt-z again to get back to the user interface and turn the viewport off using the '/nui viewport' command, then use Alt-z one more time to hide the UI and take another screen shot without the viewport (the black bar that was at the bottom of the screen will be gone) so we can compare the images.
Once you have both screen shots (with and without the black bar at the bottom), please e-mail them to me at
kscottpiel@nUIaddon.com along with a description of your computer system -- PC/Mac, Operating System, Memory and Video Card. I also need to know name of the zone you were in and the map coordinates (nUI prints them at the bottom of the world map)
