I'll be pushing new builds to GitHub soon that prepares for the solid/gradient option, and already has a colour option. GUI components will follow later.

Flat looks all cool at light backgrounds but if you have a dark background its not good to see the buttons or input filds. they are to hard to differ from the window background color. Test this at the Horde AH in OG (dark place where you have to find buttons)

Good point, but the difference here is that the buttons are (almost) solid, whereas the old ones (before gradient) were semi-transparent.
