Thanks for the update. I just received mine as well.
You don't even need a Dew account ... I never logged into my Dew account. I clicked the Receive pet button and then logged into my Battle.net account.
To those with concerns about the Battle.net account thing. Sorry to hear you won't be joining because us in getting Battle Bots. Eventually you will NEED to transfer to a battle.net account as that will be the central login point for all games from Blizzard. I know I read somewhere on Blizz site that eventually all accounts will need to be transferred.
All I can say is when I created my battle.net account I had no problems whatsoever attaching WoW to it.
