Carbonite in it's default settings has them lol
Now I get to figure out if it was something I accidentally clicked on while I was talking a friend through his first Carbonite Setup or if it's one of the 90 or so addons & plugins I use
Actually hoping it's me as I don't really want to rebuild all of my settings in them & I have spasms/twitches in my fingers occasionally.

@Petrah your Screenshot was really helpful as what was missing is the floating mouseover box as well as the black Box overlay on the Map, just below the top border, that shows:
