There's an addon that adds a "carbonite" panel to the info panels. It's in the nUI addons group somewhere. Using that, you won't have the carbonite map overlaying the bg map (which is the map in "Map") or floating around outside the info panel. OTOH, you won't be able to see the carb map and recount simultaneously, either. OTGH, I've never needed to do that.
