I suspect that there was a problem when you clicked on someone with one of the addons. Hard to say which one at present. But ones that I can see that definitely uses the inspect system are gearscore and possibly nUI ( can't remember if Scott removed that element ).
So, first try and get the error to occur repeatedly on the same subject then turn off nUI and try it again, then turn off gear score and try it again. I the error still happens it has nothing to do with nUI and gear score so go to virgin wow (with no addons loaded) and try again. If you still get the error then the problem is within wow itself.
