I'm going to guess you have either a yahoo.com or charter.net e-mail address... yes? Both of these e-mail "services" interfere with the newsletter e-mails quite often (yahoo is the worst).
1) Make sure you do not leave any fields blank before you submit
2) Make sure you check your spam folder for the "Please confirm your subscription" e-mail.
3) If all else fails, go to
http://mail.google.com and set up a free e-mail account there... they do not filter out the nUI newsletters.
If you do have an account at charter.net or yahoo.com I would ask, too, that you complain to them and tell them that mail from
[email protected] or
[email protected] is *NOT* spem... it's a double opt-in mailing list and you *WANT* to receive that e-mail.
