Not to sure about overkill. Personally I like being able to look in one area (quest/db in this case) to see if others are having the same problem i may have.

when the addon goes modular I think we need a sub forum for each module. that way specifics can be found easier. Now getting everybody to post in said sub-forums will be a task in it self
