This is not a bug... as explained in the alpha release, the nUI6 alpha disables the unit frame logic in nUI5... that means that spell durations are not available to be displayed on the nUI5 action buttons since nUI5 no longer has unit frames collecting the data.
Frankly, I'm stunned any of that works.
nUI6 Alpha does not yet contain any action bar logic, so anything to do with the action bars is something in nUI5 that's being broken by nUI6 removing that functionality form nUI5 and I don't care about that -- it's just a side effect of trying to use the two together through this testing period.
My only concern is things in nUI6 that are broken.
