Sound advice, to be sure. But here is a helpful tip I use constantly because I like knowing I have a 'clean install' when I change my UI.
Go to your WoW folder and find the Interface and WTF folders, rename them something like Interfaceold WTFold or whatever...then log into the game.
This resets ALL of Blizzards UI features and takes any risk of having something inside one of these folders from another addon.
