while recount, omen and dbm/big wigs are all esential raiding addons, to a new player are they really that necessary? Probably not... I know I couldnt live without Combuctor, which is an all in one inventory mod, also ProfessionTabs makes things easier, but not needed, CombuctorProfTabs while broke is also something I needed until it broke
Titan or and ldb bar is nice too, Titan was the very first mod i played with in vanila, followed by mobinfo.
