You can re-add it from your layout. The name updating oUF did was a total of four lines of code
. It was removed since tags will replace it, and it was never intended to be anything advance.
The
commit should tell you pretty much what you need to do.
You don't need to insert it as an element of course. You could just add the event handler and register the event in your layout.
