Actually I have done nothing in reguards to quests, the code itself was written back in the 4.0 days to use blizzards info *if* it's own internal didn't exist. If a quest is reporting it's not in the database it means it hasn't put any POI's on the map for carbonite to look at yet (sometimes it takes a little bit to kick in, but i've gone 85 to 87 through jade forest & valley so far and only once did it not pickup the blizzard stuff.)
but yes it is working with every aspect of pandaria to date (maps etc).
