This new has been around for a few weeks now but I only just found out.
It seems that the mod known as
AVR (Augmented Virtual Reality) might be making a come back.
There is already a few posts on the Blizzard forums about it and I've managed to find a green post

Weather or not this is how the new AVR works is yet to be seen.
