I need help installing this patch, I go to

How Do I Install A Customer Interface

1. Download your chosen interface
(done)

2 Extract the files to a new folder on your desktop
(how do i do this, once i find the download & click on to it, it asks me how i want to open, so i let it know, i tried everything humanly possible & i cannot open anything to extract anything)


Please can someone walk me through step by step what the heck i am supposed to do, i am getting really frustrated & have been trying to download this patch for nearly 2 weeks now with no results.
