target symbols

Ok heres the deal,
When im in Molten Core (or even just a group) and i try to asign a symbol to a target nothing happens. Infact I dont even get an menu to pop up. When i disabled all of my mods asigning a symbol was no problem, but as soon as i enabled charcoal and duf/dab I once again lost the ability to asign a symbol to a target.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or if I'm just missing something. If anyone could shed some light on my little problem I would be very greatful.
