nUI+ 5.02.00 Development released for WoW Patch 3.1

nUI+ 5.02.00 Development has just been released. This is a beta test version of nUI for use on the live realms in response to the release of WoW patch 3.1 this morning -- This is the most current version of nUI+ as it was being run on the public test realms and should be relatively stable.



Note that as of this morning's WoW 3.1 patch, nUI Release and nUI+ Release are both broken. nUI+ PTR Beta and nUI+ Development are the only versions that will run on the new WoW patch.


This release updates the PTR Beta to compatibility with the April 3rd build of the PTR 0.1.0.9767 as well as several some minor bugs. You can download the nUI+ 5.02.00 (Development) version of nUI from the "nUI: nUI+ Core" download area at http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/cat125.html

If you are not already subscribed to nUI's newsletter and have authorization to download from the nUI+ private download area at WoWInterface, please go to http://www.nUIaddon.com/plus.html and subscribe... you will be given information on how to access the private download area via e-mail so you can update your copy of nUI to work with WoW Patch 3.1

What's sad is I forgot today was tuesday, went to log in to do my daily's, server was down. No mention of patch. So I come here, and find out 3.1 is going live. Good thing I checked, tried to log into WOW again (less than 5 minutes from the first try) and then it wants to patch..... LOL

#Just a quick upodate on the Hellfire realm thepatch has not been implmented yet its still at 2.09 so what ever you do not instal the version above if your playing on helfire.

Huh?

Is that a private server? It's not even on 3.09? Or was that a typo?

I'm surprised any servers are even up yet... I wouldn't expect to see any realms online until about 2pm Eastern.

I've already done this but have not received any registration confirmation or access information. How long is the process once you've requested the group subscription?

As for "installing" the patch, you don't have a choice. I opened wow, it started the downloader, when the downloader was done, it apparently installed it without asking, because it opened wow with v3.1 ......

The EU realms get patched tomorrow. My 3 brothers play on the EU servers. I just chose to play on the US servers with my fiance.

That is correct... you never have a choice on whether or not to install a patch if you want to continue playing. The client patch always goes hand-in-hand with the server patches they do during the extended maintenance periods... so in order to be able to communicate with the server correctly, you have to be using the correct version of the client.

Well... we're close to 4 hours into the new patch and over 600 downloads of the new nUI+ 5.02 Development release for that patch and not one bug report on the new version or compatibility problem with the 3.1 patch... I'm liking that!

(if only all releases would be so smooth)

i'm not authorized to view this file either, just sent you a request for the newsletter group, don't know if I need to be in the newsletter group and the contrib group too?


guess I needed to subscribe to the NUI+ Group to access it, request is submitted.
