Looking for a Bar mod with templates?

Hello, I was wondering if someone could direct me to or help me find a bar mod that can save diffrent actionbars as a template.

Similar to how blizzard gave us a second set of bars when we change spec so that we won't fuss around moving new moves around whenever we do so.

I like this a lot and am trying to achieve the ability to have more than "2 specs" by using a combination of the Talented addon and some Bar addon that i don't know of yet.

thanks to Talented, I can save multiple templates of specs making it seem as if i got triple or quadruple specs and i'm loving it.

now i just need the bar addon that can do the same. i've read a few (bartender, dominoes...) but with my limited knowledge of addon jargon I don't think any of them feature this ability.


I just want to keep everything looking the same (i don't use any UI, just default blizzard UI), and i would like a third (or more) set of indipendent bars just like I have for my first and second spec.

I use dominoes and my main actionbar is reset on changing to my secondary spec allowing me a seperate bar just for that spec. As far as I know this is built into the game by Blizz. However since I really only use my main bar on my toon I can't say for sure whether the mods allow seperate bars specs.

They do allow creation of different profiles so I suppose you could make that feature to achieve what your after. Loading one profile when your in one spec and loading the other in your off spec.

i'm currently messing around with bartender, maybe it can do it for me or maybe i'll have to switch to domino's. thanks though.

it's true, blizz built it in, and i love it. i'm just trying to get a THIRD set (or more).

What spells are on which buttons is stored server side. BT4 and Dominoes only use what the client gives them to know that you have Frostbolt stored on bar 1 button 1 and Ice Lance on bar 1 button 2, for example.

You need a different addon like Simple Action Sets (there are a few more recently) to keep profiles of your spell locations.

I use Action Bar Saver it it does the job. Don't have it integrated with anthing else so changing over would be manual, one addon at a time rather than an easy button. May a macro easy button is possible but I never looked to see.
