It was done to identify addons updated with other clients, specifically WoWMatrix. It is totally obsolete at this time, but given the change of view there, it's unlikely that CC will be changed to be more compatible and friendly.

I admire the attitude here at WI, that they are trying their best to make Minion not to cause problems with CC, but I personnally could care less if what WI needs to do to make Minion work better would cause any problems for CC, as CC isn't being made to co-exist with Minion.

I might have missed it somewhere but is there a way to tell Minion to keep an addon updated...specifically Carbonite. I have to manually search the addon and Minion will do fine installing it BUT will not add it to its list to keep updated. I know that addon designers/authors can add taglines but is there anything we the general user base can do to get minion to keep these addons updated?
