Looking for a little help

I used to be really good at web development, but I've been out of the game a long time and I've let technology pass me by... not to mention that time is really precious to me right now between trying to get nUI 6.0 put together and the heavy work load at my real job, not to mention trying to get moved out of my house and into the apartment so I can turn the house over to the bank, etc. So... rather than try and face the learning curve to do this myself, I'm hoping maybe I can find a web monkey out there in the nUI community with the skills to knock this out quickly for me. I don't *think* what I want to do is particularly complicated.

In any event, I'm looking for someone with PHP, SQL, mailing list and PayPal skills who can help me set up some special services on my web site for nUI supporters and newsletter subscribers. why don't you just install a CMS?
like nuke evolution,it comes with a forum and alot of stuff,it also has a donation block for paypal and stuff.

I use phpbb myself. I used to write my own website but like they say .. what you don't use you lose and I have pretty much forgotten half the stuff I did back then. rofl.

The problem is that I don't need forums and all that stuff.. I need some very specific functionality related to group access, mailing list delivery and PayPal. To some extent I'm sure parts of it are available in a canned format, but a CMS isn't going to solve the problem.

Sorry, had to jump in here.. I can't help it lol.

phpBB is the worst forum software that was ever created. As a web host owner, I don't recommend that software due to it's security vulnerabilities. It was either last year or the year before, a lot of web hosts got sick of dealing with the vulnerabilities and actually banned the software from use on their servers. Seriously, I wouldn't let my worst enemy use that software.

I used to use E104 before but the site got hacked. Not had any such problems as yet with phpbb. But I would have no idea how to manually do anything like that for our guild site.

The best CMs of the World is Typo3.

It is very fexible, you find everything you 'll in the addon DB. It is like WoW a great System with thousand of people writing addons.

Yes it is a little bit greater than all this other Things, but Typo3 is fexible like no other system and if you use it, it is faster than evry other system.

Do you not think to insert new contents like in word or any other textprogram? Do you want to insert images directly from your camera, or wallpapers without starting an very expensive image to reduce the image size without a massive quality loose.

Typo3 is the answer.

No, I think today the times where everybody writes HTML is over. The really best thing is a ContentManagementSystem. There you don't have to think over code, load the files over ftp. Testing your site offline and then you see, no my like is broken.

There are addons allready for Paypal including, for scrutured FAQ, and maybe mailinglist managment, dont use it up today.

I use Typoe3 since 3 years and over one year a really friend using Typo3 for the singing group. She really like it because for her it is easy and really fast to insert dates, text and all this other things.
