My PC died and I'm on a very old iMac (OSx 10.1.5) running Firefox 1.4. No YouTube for me til I fix my pc . My TV substitute is Hulu and Fancast, so I'm dead in the water (threw my TV out at the digital switch).

First off Yhor what's the hardware/software specs ?
If you can get Safari running on it (might want to consider upgrading to 10.5.8 if you can) you can use a plugin called Click2 Flash to play the youtube content in Quicktime Player :
Sorry Cogwheel for the slight off topic conversation

Someone else must remove the cats. All have iPods." (http://community.livejournal.com/tec...t/2018070.html)
Would love to get an invite, too, if someone can spare one
Tried my luck in several contests to win one, because I want to get my hands dirty on its API and maybe writing a robot or linux IM client for it. But the amount of people wanting to get in is far too big :/
I've read some stuff about it, and watched a vid or two. It just doesn't seem all that interesting to me.. but then again I don't really care for that type of stuff.

It really depends on which "stuff" you're talking about. Unfortunately, the all the hype has been focused around the "client" google has created. The real beauty of wave is the open system underneath. I've written a blog post about this problem of perception. At some point I want to do another post describing exactly what benefits the wave system will bring to people with opinions similar to yours.
Huh, cool. So authors could collaborate on an addon project in real-time? Not passing files back and forth and such seems like it might be mighty useful.
