Help!

I've used Carbonite for sometime now and this is the first time i've had an issue. I was moving my quest log around tonight and moved it to high up on my screen. I can no longer reach the top to drag it to another area on my screen. Any ideas on how to fix this? i can't see my quests anymore.

It will reset the windows positions for you.

Alternatively, if you have another character you use Carbonite with, just import those settings, and you're good-to-go.

Right click the Carbonite minimap icon, choose "Options", choose the "Reset" page, and then "Import settings from a character".

Only reason I know this, is I just tried it to see what would happen. Do yourself a favor and size your quest log to a decent size (I find the default size is fine), put it in a spot and lock it. No more dragging it off the screen that way.

If you were talking about the "Watch" window, just use the "Reset Watch Window layout" on the same page.

"/carb resetwin" is great, but the problem is it resets ALL the Carbonite windows. If there's an option to do it another way, I'd say "Do it!" rather than have to reposition every Carb window on your screen. Unless, of course, you don't mind. I'm kinda lazy, though, and rather use the option intended to fix one problem.

None taken in the least. I forgot about using the reset > Import settings options even though that's the way I copied all the settings from one toon to all my others, lol.

I blame lack of coffee first thing i t he AM when I posted, lol.

Thanks. Yeah, been there, done that, and got the headache to prove it (no caffeine headaches=BIG ouch!).

Sure would like to see the Carbonite team figure out how to "clamp" the windows to the screen so you couldn't drag 'em off. Even if you tried! But, they have a life, too, so...........
