Release News
(v5.07.12 Released)
As the ongoing patches continue to make the aura system in nUI5 less and less stable, it's reached a point where it's bordering on unplayable. So, I've taken this past weekend to hack away at the existing code base in nUI5 and try to get the auras into at least a playable state. It's not perfect and there will be some issues, I'm sure... but, hopefully, the auras do at least work now both in and out of combat and they no longer overlap the chat frame or interfere with the unit frames.
It is worth of note that the player buffs are now capped at 20 maximum and the pet buffs at 10 maximum. In addition, neither one of them will resize anymore. More importantly, they will not sort in combat, either... only out of combat. So, you cannot count on your shortest duration spells being at the top of the list while in combat. However, this is better than the auras being flat out broken.
In the meantime, I continue to try and get auras working as intended in nUI6 and will release an update there as soon as I'm satisfied with that aura system. Unless there are any more major bugs uncovered, I do not anticipate any more updates to nUI5. nUI6 continues development and is available for download and testing in the nUI+ download area at
