Statusbars textures can be really special. I use plain statusbars on everything that can get scaled or is just to thin like the exp and rep bar.
The statusbar for the unitframes are specially made just for that size. When you squeeze a texture and it doesn't fit will get smudged and most of the time it just looks ugly.
Raid power type can be done easily. But I stay away from it. The UNIT_POWER event gets fired big time in raids and the display is just not needed most of the time.
