Okay, had another stab at this and found out that they must have changed the restrictions on the GuildSetMOTD function parameter. Apparently you can't use \n to insert a new line. Even a hardcoded string will not insert a new line in the display. However, if you use "," as the separator between event listings it will update the MOTD but it won't auto wrap around the line meaning that it defeats the object as only 1 event will be listed in its entirety. Here's a screenshot to show what the result is.

Version 5.07.27 contains the latest bugfixes.
