Guppet mini-map post-5.04 icon issue

I don't really know if this is an nUI or Carbonite issue...

Anyway, Guppet's mini-map icon never gets moved into the mini-map bag and sits on the screen in the area where the mini-map usually sits if it isn't moved into nUI. Not a really big deal, but I thought I'd mention it.

Yeah, unless it is specifically mentioned I don't believe it gets moved. Or maybe it gets moved regardless. I've forgotten now which way round it is. You would have to type /fstack and hover over the button so that we know what the name of the frame is to see if nUI is aware of it.

Okay screenshot time:

Screen 1: this happened when I typed /nui calendar to move the graphic to the minimap where it appeared fine as you can see
Screen 2: /fstack for calendar button in button bag
Screen 3: /fstack for voice chat button in button bag
Screen 4: /fstack for recording button in button bag

Odd... the frames are not showing up in the framestack. Acts like they are just textures. What do you see in the nUI.lua saved vars file for those buttons?

Account wide wtf file shows the following button bag setting. I emptied out the wtf before running the newest patch.

That's not helpful. It looks like it is moving buttons it is not logging. Makes me think even more that they are textures and not frames, but then they shouldn't work as buttons.

I'm so confused.

I'll dig into it more and see if I can figure it out.

possible prob

if it helps like you said it appears some graphics are causing the prob and therefore the buttons should not be clickable, but from what I see the button graphics are there but the green bar is over them so maybe its some transprancy graphics or somethings getting in the way so yes the buttons are there but being covered by something

Yeah, the buttons (or where the buttons should appear) are still clickable... they just don't seem to show. I'm having this issue, as well as the issue with the calendar. The difference is, certain calendar days are lime green only when I open the calendar in a dungeon. I haven't yet checked to see it this applies to battlegrounds as well.

The calendar icons being green is only affecting certain calendar events. I was seeing it on something for Last month on the US servers while sitting in stormwind.

The problem is that nUI isn't physically touching the image paths from what I can see. It is just moving where the icon is displayed. On the map on in the bag. Unless blizzard changed how those particular icons are textured path wise nUI hasn't been altered in that area.

Dont know if this helps, but I did 'open' my button bag, and for a SPLIT Second I saw the icons, then they got covered by the green blobs....

Okay, for those happy enough to make the change themselves until Scott releases an update, here goes.

File: nUI/Plugins/nUI_ButtonBag.lua

Somewhere around lines 760 and 800.

Change:
container:SetNormalTexture( "Interface\\Icons\\Buttons\\UI-PageButton-Background" );

To:
container:SetNormalTexture( "" );

Green icon goes away. I'm guessing this is one of the graphics blizz got rid of in the expansion.

And for those that are technically challenged, please find a copy of my file attached.
