Stausbars

So i have started making some Status bars for my UI and this probably isnt possible but i wondered because some mods have like a moving 3d image as status bars...

There is no way of animating these bars?

Most people don't even use the StatusBar widget for these anymore. A lot of the fancy ones use textures and animate them with use of texture:SetTexCoord() on a custom image.
