Making my Ui "Pretty"

So I've been using a modified version of spartanUI for a lil while and I'm interested in xhanging a few things around. Namely I want to remove the Spartan UI and redo that whole bit of my UI.

I know how to adjust addons to get the functionality of the Spartan UI but what attracted me to it was how pretty it looked. All i can really do is add an eepanel behind my chat log that used to be the extent of my prettynessing (yes its a word)

So I want to make my UI look nice. How do i do this?

I've never really done anything like this so any advice is helpful.

Also whats a good castbar mod? Thats probably the only thing i dont have another addon to replace.

I use eCastingbar.

Still works except for one small error. After certain events it says "failed" even though it did not. It was something that was changed in the latest API changes and there has yet to be and probably never will be an update to fix it.

Good thing is this has now ill side effects and is purely "cosmetic" and does not really bother me. Although I wish it would get fixed.

K so in Pitbull is there a way to not use its raidframes? I want to add grid for raids instead of pitbull.

Anyone know how to turn them off but still use the basic frames and party frames?

AH PERFECT!!!
Figured it out I didnt have edit mode selected.

Anyway heres a prelim shot just solo I need to add grid and adjust it in raid still:

I really wanted to focus on keeping it lightweight while having the functionality of a heavier UI. While its still not pretty like i want it is running a lot lighter and less laggy then my old UI. Thought?
