Showing mob "eliteness" in nameplates

The default nameplates (the ones that appear when you press V) over mobs doesn't make any distinction between non-elite and elite monsters/npcs.

Example:


The plate on the left belongs to an elite mob, the one on the right is non-elite. No difference.

I'm looking for any kind of mod that would indicate the eliteness of a mob (either by colorizing the border, putting a + behind the level or something). Does anything like this exist, or can it be created?
