Action Bars

I apologize if this is already on the forum somewhere. But for the life of me I cannot figure out why my action bars act one way on one toon and another way on another toon. On one toon I can scroll through all 7 action bars. I bring on another toon and I can only scroll two bars. I dont have any particular settings on NUI, I just use what is down loaded to the comp. Will someone please advise on this. I figure it is probably somewhing way simple, but it escapes me for some reason. Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!

Hmm, I don't recall that problem myself but then again with nUI you don't really need to do that as all the bars are available on the screen as is so I have never really needed to play with that.

Make a list of classes you have and what appears to be happening with your bars and I'll test it out next time I play ... which won't be till after ther weekend.

I'm sure it will be something simple like a certain class won't have an extra bar to scroll etc.

Speaking of action bars, I've found this since the patch: I frequently cannot drag a button from my spell book to an action bar and drop it there. It just disappears. Once last night I dragged to the rightmost button on the lower left bar (nUI6, btw) and it worked, but subsequent drags to other buttons did not.

Work around: disable nUI6, place the buttons, reenable nUI6. I use ACP for this. Works, but it's a pain in the ass.

Hmm, might be a change that is affecting nUI6. I don't recall seeing nUI5 have that problem though.

I'll futz around with this after I get the other nitpicks for nUI5 and the 4.3 squared away.

I think I'm going to be forced to reboot on nUI6... dunno yet.

Forgot half the stuff you did in version 6 ? I've had to do that several times in the past with my programs.

Meh... The thing is, most of what I've forgotten was in the first half of my life and I'm almost certain I don't want to do that again. ~lol~

As for the nUI6 reboot... it's a combination of two things...

1) yeah... I've forgotten a lot of what I was doing and where I was headed... but...

2) I've had way too many hours laying around thinking of better ways to do things

Are we talking about nUI6 or nUI5 here?

If memory serves me correctly, nUI6 only lets you scroll the bars that are not already displayed... see if the "Interface/ActionBars" menu options on the one toon are different from the other toon.
