Sum it all up

Sry to sound like an impatient ass. Ive read a few posts now about how to update the UI using WoWAceUpdater and updating a few other addons..

Can i please ask, for someone in my position (havent updated anything since the version 1 release, with the exception of adding Atlas and Atlasloot Enhanced), how would i go about getting Mazzle 'Up-to-date'. Im pretty much illiterate when it comes down to anything other than just copy/pasting addons over addons. :P

Anywho, Much appreciated.

Regards,

Click that link after download is finished extract to your main wow folder

Run the ace updater it will ask you to upgrade to version 1.8 do so then when its finished open the downloaded file extract and replace version 1.7 with 1.8 re-run the wow ace updater
and its all done

Use this link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wowaceupdater

When you click the green download button, it will take you to the latest version. When you have a choice between src and bin, click on bin.

Now if you are like me, you need a little more explanation for the steps.
to use !!!StandaloneLibraries, copy the entire folder into your wow folder, and click the "intall" button inside.
Then download and copy mazzle into the addons wolder, saying no to "overwrites"
A quick way to say "no" to all overwrites is to hold down shift as you click the "no" button.
When you download WAU, see if the WAU application has an '"ace" icon on for the icon, if it does not and you can not get the application to come up, go to

You don't have .net framework 2.0 installed.

Alternatively you can install just the 2.0 framework if you have SP2 installed.

Go here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
When you bring up the application, follow steps 5 & 6.
I had to re-do the Ace2 and Libraries download and copy to get them to show up on the char page addons section. You probably won't have to do this, but if you do, they will be in a section on the bottom after the first time you use the WAU.

Hope this helps

Edit: fast typing FTL.
