Logging into Cataclysm Beta Forums

Is anyone else having troubles?

I can not talk on the forums for some reason, I was about to log in and post a bug, but I get a "Server Error" every time.

I tried logging into to the regular forums, and then redirecting myself there, but it says that I'm not eligable to post in these forums

They posted that they changed the server, here is a quote:

Hi guys,

We've made some changes to the login server, however these changes didn't quite stick. You will not be able to login without doing the following:

1. Navigate to the following folder in your beta install.
~\Data\enUS**
2. Open up your realmlist.wtf file with a text editing document.
3. Change the "set portal public-beta" line to "set portal public-test"
4. Save this change.

At this point you should be able to login normally.

**This folder will differ depending on which language you installed WoW Beta with. For example if you have a German install, the folder will be deDE.

If you still have issues with logging in please post here!

Err, I changed that already. I saw that on the forums right after they posted it, I mean actually logging INTO the Cataclysm Beta forums.

I'm unable to log into it whatsoever.

OH the forums... hmm, Idk. It might take a while to update that? Not sure.

Don't look now bro's but it looks like battle.net has been updated.

I was getting the same error on the Live forums - I was clicking Login and wasn't getting logged in.

Went cleared my cookies then tried logging on battle.net. I'm now able to logon just fine.

You might just need to clear your cookies and log on the new battle.net

About to check logging on the Cata forums now

UPDATE : Tried logging on the Cata beta forums. Got a server error this time. Might need to wait till they have all the battle.net stuff back up.

nice to know that the bnet maintenance fixed *something*
